About the role
We’re looking for a detail oriented and proactive Winery Records Assistant to join our Barossa Wineries Operational team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where your administrative and data management skills will directly support the winemaking process.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Accurate data entry for winery operations including wine receivals, dispatch, transfers, additives, and bottling.
• Maintain and prepare reports, documents, and barrel cards.
• Provide general administrative support to the Winery Operations team.
• Assist with vintage operations and collaborate with winemakers and cellar staff.
• Support company events and maintain office housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
What You’ll Bring:
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A current driver’s license and flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods.
• Experience in the wine or related industry (desirable).
• Certificate in Office Administration or similar (desirable).
