What you'll be doing

We are looking for Front of House Attendants to join the team at our iconic brand homes in the beautiful Barossa.

• 1 x casual position at Jacob's Creek
• 1 x casual position at St Hugo / Grant Burge

You'll provide exceptional food, beverage and wine service, as well as ensure our guests receive memorable service! 

You'll also be responsible for: 

• Conducting wine tastings - guiding guests through structured tastings, sharing knowledge about our brand story, the wine varietal, origin and production methods 
• Promote and sell wines, merchandise and experience as well as using storytelling and product knowledge to encourage purchases and increase average spend per guest
• Wine club sign-ups and membership engagement 
• Provide exceptional service from greeting to farewell.
• Handle inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and ensure guests leave with a positive impression.
• Manage POS systems, process transactions, and maintain accurate records

What you'll bring

You'll be a passionate lover of wine (or are open to becoming one!) with the highest appreciation for exceptional customer service and quality. You'll also be able to demonstrate:

• a no job is too small attitude, and be able to work well indepedently as well as in a team. 
• strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people from all walks of life. 
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
• Experience in a fast-paced wine-focused environment, or Café or Restaurant environment
• Proven track record in a sales environment
• Ability to work flexibly across all FOH areas, across precinct
• Demonstrate a passion for wine, and desire to deliver quality wine experiences to customers
• WSET Level 2 or equivalent experience (desirable)
