The Role

 

We're searching for an Accounts Payable Finance Officer to be responsible for all oversite between our suppliers and internal staff and our Vinarchy Payable processing team. Reporting into the Regional Shared Services Lead, the successful candidate must seek to continuously improve global stakeholder relationships and facilitate smooth processing of our payable functions as well as ensure all payment runs are complied and submitted in a timely fashion.

 

This is a full time, permanent opportunity based in Adelaide CBD or Auckland, New Zealand.
 
 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • You will have strong internal relationships with the AP team, procurement, and site staff to collate information across multiple aspects of the function and report clear, accurate and relevant information across the business. 
  • You will work with the team to develop, set and adhere to a clear set of standard operating procedures and ensure that Account Payable actions and discussions are accurately recorded and document in accordance with Vinarchy agreed audit responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with all stakeholders. Be a point of reference for all Australian and Asian stakeholders to give confidence in the status of processing
  • Work with the processing team for clear and concise management of all General Ledger reconciliations. Work with onshore finance teams to ensure outstanding items are processed and cleared
  • Work closely with the AP processing team to ensure escalations are processed and addressed as needed.
  • Establish and manage 3rd party partner relationships to deliver ongoing benefits
  • Report and communicate all relevant information in accordance with the governance framework or stakeholder requirements as agreed
  • Act as a point of contact for the business and assist in directing queries to the relevant source internally and externally
  • Ensure internal staff are aware of the processes and requirements for prompt processing by the AP team. Guide and offer solutions as required.
  • Experience with JDE or Oracle desirable but not essential
