About the role

This role is a key finance business partner to our Grape & Wine Supply and Winemaking teams. You’ll support the Finance Manager in managing viticulture spend across Australia, including budgeting for grape and bulk wine purchases. You’ll also play a vital role in optimising bulk wine blends and recipes, while overseeing bulk wine inventory positions. This is a hands-on role with strong commercial impact, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams and driving value through financial insights.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Management and forecasting of Viticulture spend in Australia, including partnering Vineyard Managers on the annual Budget process, forecasting of risks and opportunities and analysis of month end results
• Assist with analysis and tracking of Vinarchy Strategic Operating Plan initiatives, particularly in relation to recipe and blend optimisation targets
• Ensure financial data is appropriately recorded and maintained within bulk wine systems (Vintrace / WIPs) and the GL (JDE)
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in Viticulture and Winemaking reporting

What You’ll Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting / Finance or related discipline
• CA/CPA professional accreditation, or working towards it
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial/Management Accounting roles
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organised
