About the role
Vinarchy is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager (Direct) to lead the strategic optimisation, management of our direct spend categories. This role is accountable for driving value through robust category strategies, disciplined sourcing and cost‑leadership initiatives, while ensuring continuity of supply and long‑term commercial resilience. You will play a key role in shaping supplier strategies, negotiating critical contracts and embedding best‑practice category management aligned to operational and business priorities.
Your expertise will uphold our standards of quality, performance and compliance. Reporting to the Procurement Manager ANZ, you will collaborate closely with Production, Operations, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver disciplined commercial outcomes and support high‑quality execution across the business. This is a full‑time, permanent role based in Adelaide, offering hybrid working.
What You'll Do

Develop and deliver category strategies informed by market insight and long‑term sourcing plans

Lead sourcing activities including RFPs, supplier evaluations, benchmarking, negotiations and contracts

Manage key suppliers to strengthen performance, compliance, innovation and continuous improvement

Support NPD and EPD through early supplier engagement, cost modelling and material readiness

Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance on production needs, budgets and spend analytics

Identify and mitigate category risks while maintaining governance and responsible sourcing standards

Drive cost optimisation through value engineering, packaging improvements and commercial initiative
What You'll Bring

5+ years in procurement, category management or packaging (FMCG/wine/beverage preferred)

Strength in supplier management, negotiation and RFX processes

Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, forecasting, data‑driven decisions)

Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration
-
Advanced Excel and ERP/procurement systems experience

Business‑related degree, flexibility for occasional out‑of‑hours work and travel

Current driver’s licence and a proactive, growth‑oriented approach
