About the role

You will be required to perform duties of a Warehouse Operator in a Warehouse environment.  Duties include loading and unloading of trucks, picking and packing of orders, receipting in of incoming stock such as finished goods and dry goods.  This role involves shift work and you will be rostered to work various shifts such as day, night and afternoon.

Your Key Accountabilities

• Ability to work in a self-directed manner and as part of the warehouse team
• Ability to continuously break down and re-pack pallets of product in the correct configurations
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and documentation
• Knowledge of major activities within the warehouse
• Ability to operate a forklift for an extended period of time and dispatch stock
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with warehouse and transport personnel
• Ability to work autonomously when required
• Operation of electronic equipment such as scanner
• Data entry
• Reporting directly to supervisors
• General housekeeping of warehouse and dispatch area.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records by conducting regular cycle counts

Essential Qualifications

• Current Forklift license 
• A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar environment
• Successful completion of AQF2 certificate in Food Processing (Wine) in the warehouse units relevant to a Grade 2 Storeperson
