About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high value territory spanning Adelaide South, Adelaide Hills, Kangaroo Island and the South East of South Australia. 
This is a large, diverse region with a strong mix of on premise, retail and hybrid accounts, offering meaningful scope for relationship led growth and new business development.
You’ll manage an established customer base while identifying opportunities to grow distribution, activation and premium mix across pubs, hospitality groups, retail banners and destination venues.

Key Responsibilities

•    Manage and grow a defined territory to deliver volume, distribution, product mix and revenue targets 
•    Build strong, long term relationships with key on premise, retail and hybrid customers 
•    Win new on premise business and unlock incremental opportunities within existing accounts 
•    Execute agreed sales strategies, promotions and activation programs in market 
•    Deliver high quality in field execution, including journey planning and call coverage 
•    Partner closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes 
•    Complete all field administration accurately and on time

About You

You are a driven, relationship led sales professional who thrives in the field and enjoys owning your patch. You’re organised, self motivated and comfortable working autonomously while collaborating closely with your leader and peers.
You bring energy, resilience and genuine pride in delivering great outcomes our business and your customers. 

What You’ll Bring

•    2–3+ years’ experience in liquor (wine preferred) or FMCG field sales 
•    Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to grow territory performance 
•    Confident relationship builder with a customer first mindset 
•    Well organised, self motivated and comfortable managing a large geographic region 
•    Passion for wine, hospitality and building brands in market 
•    A current driver’s licence and willingness to be out calling on customers within your territory at least 80% of the time
