About the role

Working as part of the Lab team, your key responsibilities will be; following testing and reporting procedures, contribute to creating an organized, safe and clean work environment. 

Key to your success will require; adaptability and reliability in the role, accurate and efficiency with regards to testing and reporting and be a positive team player with good communication. As with roles in the industry we do work in teams that work days and hours that suit the needs of the growing cycle in viticulture, or wine production in the winery and at peak harvest and vintage do work extended hours.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Routinely collect, prepare and test wine and juice samples using automated analytical instruments
• Accurately report results for the Winemaker and Viticulture team, using LIMS and other reporting systems
• Be available for extended hours over vintage

What You’ll Bring:

• Laboratory experience with a good understanding of lab protocols and procedures
• May have a winemaking or science related degree
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise workload and report results by deadlines
• Good analytical skills and accurate reporting
• Reliable and hard working
