About the role
We’re looking for a commercially astute and collaborative Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager to lead financial operations across our New Zealand supply chain. Reporting to the GM Supply Chain Finance, this position is a key member of both the NZ Supply Chain and Global Finance leadership teams.
You’ll lead a small, high-performing team and partner closely with senior stakeholders across operations, supply, and global finance to deliver accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and strategic guidance. From vineyards to inventory, capex to cost recovery, you’ll play a critical role in driving performance, accountability, and value creation across the NZ business.
This position can be based in Auckland, Hawkes Bay or the Marlborough region.
Key responsibilities include
• Lead financial controlling for all NZ supply chain and support units, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Partner with supply chain leaders to manage operating and capital expenditure, identify risks and opportunities, and drive forecast accuracy
• Oversee NZ inventory reporting and control, including bulk wine, dry goods, and finished goods
• Lead capex planning and ROI analysis, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
• Deliver monthly reporting and insights for vineyards, wineries, freight, and warehousing
• Support global finance teams with consolidated reporting, cash flow forecasting, and inventory optimization
• Drive continuous improvement, team development, and adoption of new tools and technologies
• Contribute to strategic projects, audit readiness, and costing for NZ wines
About Your Experience
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA, CA, or MBA preferred
• Proven experience leading finance functions in large, complex organizations
• Wine or FMCG industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Advanced business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills
• Commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior leaders
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
