About Us

Vinarchy. Redefining Wine. We bring together some of the world’s most recognised wine brands with a bold ambition to lead the future of the category. From grape to glass, our global footprint spans Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South Africa, Chile and the United States.

Our portfolio includes iconic brands St Hugo, Petaluma, Hardys, Grant Burge, supported by a strong premium and growth portfolio that performs exceptionally well in the On-Premise channel. We are leaders within the On Premise and looking for individuals who will help continue that success.

About The Role

We are looking for a strategic, growth‑focused Key Account Manager within one of the fastest‑growing on-premise teams in the industry.

Based in Melbourne, you’ll own a portfolio of high‑value, complex on-premise key accounts across Victoria – including hospitality groups and major venues. This role has been created to unlock the next phase of growth as the channel continues to outperform.

Operating at a senior level, you’ll lead commercial negotiations, joint business planning and long‑term partnerships, delivering profitable growth through fewer, bigger wins.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Own end‑to‑end commercial outcomes for strategic On Premise key accounts
  • Win new business with groups, chains and multi‑site operators across Victoria
  • Lead commercial negotiations, partnership agreements and joint business plans
  • Deliver GP, premium portfolio penetration and rate of sale growth
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and performance tracking
  • Influence internal teams across sales, marketing and category to execute strategy
  • Identify new opportunities through data, insights and market intelligence

About Your Experience

You’re a commercially confident Key Account Manager who thrives in complexity and long‑term deal cycles.

You’ll bring:

  • 3+ years Key Account Management experience in FMCG, liquor, wine, food or adjacent industries
  • Experience managing large, multi‑stakeholder accounts rather than individual venues
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability and GP ownership
  • A track record of winning new business at group or head‑office level
  • Confidence influencing without authority across cross‑functional teams
  • A strategic mindset with a genuine growth and hunter orientation
  • Wine certifications (WSET, CMS or equivalent) preferred
  • Must hold a valid Drivers License

Wine knowledge is helpful, but commercial credibility and negotiation strength are critical.

Why Join Us?

We’re proud to offer:

  • High‑growth On Premise channel with ambitious expansion plans
  • Strategic role with genuine ownership and autonomy
  • Opportunity to shape partnerships with some of Victoria’s most influential hospitality groups
  • Join a high‑performing team consistently delivering results
  • Competitive salary package, bonus and tool‑of‑trade vehicle

You’ll also enjoy:

  • Staff wine allowance and exclusive wine offers
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Loyalty Leave – up to 1 week additional annual leave after 5 years
  • Vinarchy Anniversary Day off
  • Go Beyond Day – supporting local community organisations
