About The Role

The Credit Controller – NZ plays a key role in enabling One Vinarchy.

 

Reporting to the Senior Credit Controller – NZ, this position is responsible for end-to-end credit control activities for the New Zealand customer portfolio, supporting cash collection, credit risk management and the order-to-cash process.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor outstanding customer debt to ensure payment within authorised terms and cash collection targets
  • Conduct credit reviews, manage credit limits and escalate risk where required
  • Support order-to-cash operations, including release of orders on credit hold and documentation retrieval
  • Maintain accurate account reconciliations and resolve customer queries, including processing credit notes and adjustments
  • Contribute to month-end AR processes, reporting and compliance activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce aged debt and improve DSO

 

Your Experience / Capability

  • 2–3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
  • Strong account reconciliation skills with proven ability to manage aged debt
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills when engaging with customers
  • Experience using ERP financial systems (e.g. JD Edwards)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer‑focused with a problem‑solving, analytical mindset.
  • Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
