About the role
The Vintage Weighbridge Assistant assists with safe and efficient harvest preparation and harvest intake at our Marlborough Winery.
Attention to detail, data input, working well within a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask competing priorities during the busy harvest period are important aspects of this position.
In this dynamic and fast paced role, your day may include:
- Accurate data entry of truck/trailer weights from a weigh scale
- Checking all paperwork has been completed correctly.
- Updating logs as required
- Collection and recording of maturity information and storage samples
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Weighing out empty truck trailers
- Communication with both infield harvest operations and winery front end coordination
- Assisting with any other reasonable requests for the safe and efficient harvest preparation and harvest intake, this may include vineyard related work
What You'll Bring:

You'll also have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to follow work procedures with a strong attention to detail
