About the role
As our Supply Chain business continues to thrive, we are hiring an experienced Dry Goods Inventory Controller. This role is responsible for managing the accurate receival and storage of raw materials required for manufacture at the Vinarchy Rowland Flat Site. Inventory reporting, cycle counts, and stock takes are managed by this role and are key functions that contribute to inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Check inbound loads of Chep pallets and record in 2ic Pallet Management Program
• Use Scale WMS and JDE to receive purchase orders of dry goods
• Be the key contact for any discrepancies with receipts for dry goods
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies within the dry goods store
• Conduct regular cycle counts of dry good inventory
• Conduct annual stock takes of dry good inventory
• Resolve workflow issues within the store
• Liaise with other functions including QA, Production operators, and planning regarding inventory issues
• Contribute to development and improvement of process and SOPs

Functionally, experience with JDE and Manhattan Scale WMS is desirable, along with a solid understanding of warehousing operations, analytical skills to report on KPIs, and sound decision-making abilities.
The role requires at least two years’ experience in warehousing, a High Risk (Forklift) License, and ideally experience in inventory management and working within a large, complex wine business. Regular heavy lifting is required.
