About the role
Key Responsibilities Include:
Operational Leadership
• Lead daily Brand Home operations to ensure consistently high service standards
• Manage bookings, EPOS systems, pricing, availability and stock ordering
• Support compliance requirements including audits, registers and first aid
Team Development & Training
• Lead, motivate and develop the Brand Home team
• Deliver wine education and operational training
• Support onboarding, coaching and daily team briefings
Customer Experience & Brand Representation
• Act as a brand ambassador and host VIP guests
• Deliver premium, consumer‑centric experiences across all touchpoints
• Manage customer feedback professionally
Restaurant Service
• Lead Front of House service during trade
• Maintain food and beverage menus
• Provide food and wine recommendations
• Uphold presentation and cleanliness standards
Cellar Door & Wine Experiences
• Oversee wine tastings and hosted experiences
• Drive wine sales and Distinction Wine sign‑ups
• Promote special offerings and experiences
Events & Functions
• Support planning and delivery of functions
• Ensure smooth service flow and team communication
Safety & Compliance
• Promote a strong safety and reporting culture
• Support compliance with health and safety standards
Business Support
• Prepare reporting and represent the Brand Home Manager when required
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture
What You’ll Bring:
Essential
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
• Experience leading teams to achieve results in a fast‑paced environment while building strong working relationships
• Background in hosting customers within a hospitality or wine‑focused setting
• Genuine passion for wine and delivering high‑quality wine experiences
• Wine specialist with a minimum WSET 2 or equivalent wine education
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in complex environments
• Responsible Service of Alcohol and Liquor Licensing certification
• Sound literacy, numeracy and communication skills
Desirable
• Hospitality qualifications or equivalent
• Current First Aid and Fire Warden certification
• Responsible Person badge
