Why This Role?
As our new IBP Analyst – Asia, you’ll be at the heart of our supply chain team transformation, driving demand planning excellence across 15 dynamic Asian markets - including China and Japan.
This is a newly created role based in Singapore (with hybrid working) in a growing team, offering you the chance to shape processes, implement new systems, and make a real impact from day one.
What You'll Do
- Lead monthly forecast reviews with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, aligning on consensus demand plans within the SC&OP cycle.
- Drive demand planning best practices and continuous improvement, setting up new tools and processes to support business growth.
- Enhance forecasting accuracy through better inputs, automation, and historical data analysis.
- Own the demand planning process, collaborating closely with Sales and Supply Chain to deliver robust forecasts and actionable insights.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy to optimise inventory and customer service.
- Provide timely updates on short-term demand changes to minimise stockouts and surpluses.
- Ensure data consistency and reliability across planning systems.
- Support reporting and analysis for forecasting, sales, production, and inventory.
- Partner with commercial teams on product launches, rationalisation, and inventory management.
Experience You'll Bring
- Experienced in demand planning, supply chain analysis, or SC&OP—ideally in FMCG, beverages, or a global matrixed organisation.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with tools like Power BI, Anaplan, JDE, and automation using VBA, SQL, or Python.
- Skilled at translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- A champion of process improvement, able to identify gaps and drive solutions.
- Excellent communicator and influencer, with strong commercial acumen.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
- Demonstrates initiative to proactively resolve issues before they become problems!
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
