Assistant Brand Manager

Date:  5 May 2026
Location:

Sydney, NSW, Australia

Job Function:  Sales and Marketing
Employment Type:

Vinarchy. Redefining Wine.

Established in 2025 following the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Vinarchy is an exceptional global wine company committed to redefining wine.

Crafting extraordinary wines in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Chile and the United States, and sharing them in almost every corner of the world, we are relentlessly innovative, ambitious and imaginative at every stage from grape to glass.

Right now, we’re looking for a switched‑on, execution‑driven Assistant Brand Manager who wants to own workstreams, move fast, and see their ideas land in‑market.

If you’re early in your brand career and hungry for breadth, responsibility and visibility - this role will stretch you.

About the Role

Based in Sydney and reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this role is a core part of a lean, high‑performance marketing team.

Your primary focus will be Grant Burge, one of Australia’s most recognised wine brands, including involvement in a high‑profile AFL sponsorship platform currently live. You’ll also gain exposure to Petaluma and St Hallett.

This is a hands‑on role with real ownership—leading execution across campaigns, launches and activations rather than coordinating from the sidelines. You’ll be trusted to run your own workstreams, manage agencies, and deliver at pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of brand activations, campaigns and launches from brief to in‑market delivery
  • Own end‑to‑end project management across media, sponsorship, retail and shopper activity
  • Deliver key initiatives including AFL sponsorship activation and major retail launches
  • Coordinate agencies and internal teams to deliver on time and in full
  • Track performance, manage timelines, approvals, budgets and A&P spend
  • Work closely with Sales, Shopper Marketing, Category & Insights, Supply and Creative teams
  • Bring energy, structure and momentum to a demanding, visible portfolio

Your Skills & Experience

This role will suit someone who wants responsibility early and thrives under load.

You’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • 1–4 years’ experience in brand, marketing or consumer roles
  • FMCG or consumer goods experience (strongly preferred)
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple streams
  • Confidence owning work without constant direction
  • Commercial curiosity - comfortable with budgets, performance and outcomes
  • A proactive, can‑do mindset and resilience under pressure

Nice to have (not essential):

  • Experience in wine, alcohol or regulated consumer categories
  • Exposure to innovation, packaging or go‑to‑market projects
  • Experience supporting budgets, forecasting or commercial processes
  • Understanding of digital, social and content execution

  • The chance to see your work live in market quickly
  • A role designed to build future Senior Brand Manager capability
  • Autonomy, pace and accountability - your output matters
  • A collaborative, ambitious team raising the bar together

In addition, you’ll enjoy:

  • Annual wine allowance and exclusive offers
  • Paid parental leave
  • Go Beyond Day to support your local community
  • Extensive learning and development resources - real opportunity for career progression
  • Health insurance discounts, flu vaccination & EAP
