About the Role

 

We are recruiting for the newly created position of Compensation & Benefits Advisor to join our People & Communications team in Sydney for a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

Reporting to the Global Remuneration & Benefits Lead, this role will be pivotal in ensuring equitable pay practices and harmonising benefits across our global business.

 

You'll contribute to the design of incentive programs and support the rollout of our new remuneration framework.

 

This is a rare opportunity for a proactive and adaptable generalist HR Advisor to:

  • Drive Change: Play a key role in implementing our new global remuneration framework and harmonising benefits across regions.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Work closely with stakeholders and the broader HR team to drive strategic initiatives and deliver impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Global Impact: Contribute to the design and implementation of incentive programs and remuneration frameworks, work to harmonise benefits across our global business.
  • Strategic Analysis: Analyse local remuneration trends in new regions to inform and shape our global compensation strategy.
  • Project Leadership: Provide project support for global and regional initiatives, delivering insights and preparing reports that influence key stakeholders.
  • Remuneration Processes: Support remuneration processes such as benchmarking and annual reviews to ensure equitable pay practices.
  • Benefits Harmonisation: Review existing benefits programs and support their consistent implementation across different regions.
  • Data Management: Assist with external data submissions, including salary surveys and gender pay gap reporting, ensuring accurate and timely data handling.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Deliver insights to stakeholders and collaborate with the broader HR team to drive strategic initiatives.

 

What We're Looking For

 

 

  • 3+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, or data analytics within HR environments.
  • Experience with external compensation frameworks (e.g., Mercer and Aon).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of global remuneration practices and trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage project work and collaborate with broader HR team and other stakeholders.
  • A can-do attitude with the ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a champion of change, happy to propose and adapt to new ways of working.
