Role Details
This position supports the Global Supply Chain and Operations team deliver robust FP&A processes, including preparing a suite of monthly reports for both P&L and Balance Sheet, owning Capex and Finished Good inventory processes, supporting productivity and continuous improvement initiatives, and development of Power BI dashboard reporting.

Your Key Accountabilities
Global Financial Planning & Reporting (FP&A) – Supply Chain
• Support the planning, budgeting and forecasting process for Global Supply Chain and Operations
• Support monthly and mid-month business performance forecasting and timely communication
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly reporting for the Senior Finance Manager, and Global Supply Chain stakeholders in-line with scorecard & reporting requirements including qualitative explanation
• Play an active role in monthly Management Business Review and Supply Team Meetings
• Identification of opportunity realisation and risk mitigation
• Undertake month end close processes, including balance sheet and capex reconciliations
• Preparation of annual budget and longer-term strategic plans including board and executive team deliverables and presentations, and consolidation of Global Supply Chain Profit and Loss, Inventory and Capex
Global Inventory
• Perform analysis of monthly Inventory results, including future focused, actionable commentary and insights
• Preparation of detailed AU and NZ inventory budgets and forecasts
• Support delivery of Global Inventory targets, maintaining a strong R&O and forecasting process
• Support monthly SMI provision process across the ANZP, Asia and US Commercial regions
• Provide analysis of monthly FG provision movements (eg. SMI and Impairment)
Global Capital Investment
• Business partner with key stakeholders across all regions to support delivery of a robust capex project pipeline, balanced across safety & compliance, profit sustain, and profit add
• Assist with delivery of the capex budget and strategic forecasts
• Own the monthly capex reconciliation process; ensure capital allocation decisions are maximised
Continuous Improvement
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in our regular reporting
• Proactively lead development of Power BI reporting solutions
• Partner with key business stakeholders to understand their informational needs and create financial and operational dashboards that are intuitive to use and support key business decisions
Productivity and Value Creation (aka VSOP) – Supply Chain
• Report key productivity initiative pipelines to help ensure we remain on track to targets
• Analytical support to evaluate key investment decisions and post implementation reviews of projects
• Other tasks as may be required to ensure target delivery
Promote a robust control & governance environment
• Work with manager to ensure proper internal controls are in place and functioning to safeguard company assets and to guarantee the reliability of financial statements in line with corporate policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all policies regarding costs and productivity, capital, fixed assets and inventory
• Support year end process and requests for information and liaison with External Auditors, including facilitating the annual reassessment of the FG Inventory SMI and Impairment provisions
Other Accountabilities Include
Your Knowledge and Skills
• Degree in Accounting / Finance
• CPA or CA qualified (or near completion)
• 5+ years’ work experience in Finance
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Power BI dashboard creation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills, able to independently develop analytical approach to identify issues and frame analysis
• Able to translate data into insights and informed action plans
• Able to identify process improvements and bring them to life
• Highly organised with attention to detail and robust sense-checking
• Able to provide accurate and succinct financials for decision making, while being a key contributor themselves
• Comfortable to deliver outcomes when information is ambiguous (80/20 approach)
• Able to project manage and work with others with varying understanding of financial topics
• Bias for action and results delivery, highly proactive
• Able to work with minimal supervision, including managing competing deadlines
• Contribute to team outputs and manage time effectively

Physical and Other Requirements
• Some out of hours work including conference calls with non-Australian time zones required
• Occasional travel to Adelaide for undertaking of business partnering within role and to meet with operational stakeholders may be required.
