The Role

 

We're on the hunt for a dynamic Shopper Marketing Manager to join our Sydney based, Customer Marketing team. Your focus will be on developing & implementing an omni channel shopper marketing strategy for your customer banner groups.

 

Your mission: understand shopper behaviour, drive insight-led activations, optimise investment, and positively impact both our brands and your customers' bottom line!

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Craft and execute BTL shopper marketing strategies and annual activation plans that meet the needs of both your customer banners & our AU business objectives

  • Collaborate with category, marketing, sales, and finance teams to create and optimise shopper marketing strategies.

  • Stay ahead of trends in shopper behaviour, technology, and retail innovations.

  • Develop and present joint business plans with sales teams.

  • Create shopper campaigns and customer plans with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Build strategic relationships with key marketing and retailer contacts.

  • Track and report on campaign results, delivering post-promotion insights and recommendations.

What You'll Bring

 

  • 5+ years experience in FMCG or Liquor marketing,  with at least 3 of those years in BTL marketing

  • Proven campaign management skills, delivering BTL campaigns on time and within budget

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and meet challenging deadlines, proactive and solutions focused, consistently driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong sustainable relationships with internal & external stakeholders

  • Previous experience with key customers

  • Persuasive selling & presentation skills

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • University degree in business, marketing or related discipline (desirable)
