About the role
Our team members operate a variety of plant and equipment throughout the winemaking process. Processes span vintage and non-vintage operations including crushing, pressing, juice additions, fermentation, filtrations, product transfers, blends, additions, barrel handling and others.
Key Responsibilities Include
Our Cellar Hands operate a variety of plant and machinery to begin the winemaking process, some of the tasks you may be involved in include;
• Follow instructions as provided by the Cellar leadership team and greater winemaking team.
• Adherence to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Record clear and accurate data on operations instructions and health and safety systems.
• Consistent adherence to safety and quality systems.
• Maintain general winery cleanliness and cellar hygiene.
What you'll bring
• Demonstrated competence in a broad range of cellar operations.
• A continuous improvement mentality
• Autonomy, and ability to work without direct supervision.
• Reliable team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Full Australian working rights – Citizenship, Permanent residency, or valid Visa
• Proactivity, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for premium wine!
