About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and commercially astute Global Brand Director to lead the transformation of one of the world’s most iconic wine brands: Hardys. Based in Weybridge, UK, and reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape the brands global agenda.
As a key member of the global marketing leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing a bold, insight-led brand strategy that drives growth, relevance, and profitability across all markets. You will work closely with regional marketing teams, global innovation, and commercial leaders to unlock the full potential of the Hardys brand—ensuring it continues to lead in a rapidly evolving global wine landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development of a compelling global brand vision and a 5-year transformation roadmap, grounded in deep consumer, customer, and commercial insight.
• Design and implement the global marketing strategy for Hardys, including brand architecture, innovation pipeline, visual identity, pricing strategy, and annual brand plans.
• Drive brand growth and profitability by identifying and capitalizing on strategic opportunities across key global markets.
• Oversee the global A&P investment for Hardys, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize brand impact and ROI.
• Lead innovation and new product development, partnering closely with the Global Innovation team to bring breakthrough ideas to market.
• Build strong cross-functional and cross-market relationships, influencing and aligning key stakeholders including regional marketing teams, commercial leads, and executive leadership.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture, empowering and developing talent across geographies.
• Champion brand excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring Hardys remains at the forefront of consumer relevance and commercial success.
